Somalian Pirates attack the Biscaglia
A military helicopter has plucked in the sea three anti-piracy experts, among whom two English, who had decided to leave their ship attacked by pirates. The men left all their crew members behind, without any help. Some may criticize the move, but according to their employer, this was a heroic and wise decision. He thinks that is was the best thing to do against heavily-armed pirates and if they had stayed any longer, they could have been killed.
The worst in this story is that the Biscaglia is the 97th vessel attacked this year in those waters, off the coast of Somalia. 15 ships are held at the moment, with more than 300 crew members. On the other hand, the good news is that the pirates released a cargo ship, the Centauri, captured on September 18. The crew is unharmed, but the owners had to pay a high ransom in exchange for their freedom.

Les pirates somaliens attaquent le Biscaglia
Un hélicoptère militaire a repêché en mer trois experts anti-piraterie, dont deux Anglais, qui avaient décidé de quitter leur bateau, attaqué par des pirates. Les hommes ont laissé tous leurs membres d'équipage derrière eux, sans aucune aide. Certains pourraient critiquer cet épisode tragi-comique, mais selon leur employeur, c’était une héroïque et sage décision, sans doute la meilleure chose à faire contre des pirates lourdement armés. S'ils étaient restés plus longtemps, ils auraient été tués.
Le pire dans cette histoire est que le Biscaglia est le 97ème navire attaqué cette année dans ces eaux, au large de la Somalie. 15 bateaux sont actuellement retenus, avec plus de 300 membres d'équipage. Mais d’un autre coté, la bonne nouvelle est que les pirates ont relâché un cargo, le Centauri, capturé le 18 septembre de cette année. L'équipage est indemne, mais les armateurs ont dû payer une forte rançon en échange de leur liberté.
